Meeting Notes
Present: Sara Graham (Chair), Eric Braun, Kathy McCabe, Lydia Hernandez, Derek Sangston, Jim Knox and Victoria Newlin

1. Student Needs Survey
a. Only 150 surveys - would like 400
1. Financial Aid ranked as most important need
2. Parking and Technology tied as second most important needs
3. Population was skewed towards the following demographics:
-62.7% did not have children
-66.7% do have health insurance
-95.3% do have their own means of transportation
-62.4% receive finacial aid from the college
-90% own their own computer
-91.3% do not consider themselves disabled
-78.4% were female
-66.7% are full time students (12 ore more credits)
-65% were 20-35 years old
b. Eric will request that the link remains active for two more weeks
c. Eric will contact Jon Bouknight about getting word to faculty
2. Action Items
a. Focus on Financial Aid as primary student need unless survey results change
b. Develop Financial Aid Recommendations by end of the academic year:
1. COCC Foundation (Jim Weaver)
2. Scholarships (Susan McCampbell)
3. Tuition and Fees (Jim Middleton, Jim Jones)
4. Student Loans (Kevin Multop, Richard Thompson)
