The Broadside is the official student newspaper of Central Oregon Community College.

More than 2500 copies of the newspaper are distributed throughout much of central Oregon.

The Broadside Advisor for the 2006-2007 academic year is Erin Marlowe. Erin comes to COCC with a wide array of experience in journalism, media and higher education. Erin earned a masters degree in journalism from the University of Missouri in 2005. For the past year, she has been the Sisters/Redmond Reporter for the Bend Bulletin. In addition to her role as a student newspaper advisor, Erin is also teaching Journalism 280, Journalism Practice. Congratulations, Erin, and welcome to the COCC community!
