Student Health Insurance
Central Oregon Community College does not offer student health insurance. At the same time, the college does not require students to have health insurance coverage in order to enroll in courses and to participate in related activities and events.
Listed below is a link to the most recent health insurance carrier that COCC students have subscribed to in the past. Some students have found this plan to be helpful, while others have complained about high costs and minimal coverage.
The Sentry Student Security Plan
It is strongly recommended that you thoroughly research any option in order to determine if a plan meets your particular health needs, or if it may be more feasible to purchase a private health insurance plan through a different provider.
Printed student health insurance brochures for this plan may be found in the Student Life Office in Grandview Hall.
Limited physical and mental health services for in-district residents are also offered at low or minimal costs through the Deschutes County Health Services Office.
